Prophet Noah

(may peace and blessings be on him)

Prophet Noah (may peace and blessings be on him) occupies a unique position in human history for the entire mankind. We are all descendants of the people who were in his boat. There is a separate chapter in the Quran devoted entirely to Prophet Noah and his struggle to invite people towards God.
 

This prayer of prophet Noah came after a long 950 years of preaching.

 

As the following verse tells us, Prophet Noah's time was before Prophet Abraham's.
 

 

The following verses describe his mission briefly:
 

 

The following verses clearly tell us that the people of the Ark inheritted the earth and we are all their descendants.

The following is a dialogue that tok place between Noah and his people.
 

 

The verse that follows tells us that Prophet Noah lived among his people for 950 years. It suggests that people at that time lived much longer life.

 

The following verses tell us that water came as heavy  rain from the sky as well as from heavy springs.
The Ark was made from broad planks and caulked with palm-fiber.
 

 

As the verses above have shown us, his son was among the disbelievers. Unfortunately, so was his wife.
